VMware Partner Exchange 2010 is the marquis global event for virtualization partners, offering more than 150 sessions and an extensive exhibitor pavilion to demonstrate how partners can best accelerate their virtualization businesses in 2010. Partner attendees will receive a preview into the next generation of products and programs coming from VMware and will offer partners an exclusive opportunity to hear from VMware executives including Carl Eschenbach, executive vice president of worldwide field operations and Dr. Stephen Herrod, CTO and senior vice president of R&D.
Cisco and EMC had a strong contingent at the conference as well, touting the VMware/Cisco/EMC alliance, also known as the Virtual Computing Environment or VCE alliance. The vBlock architecture was a popular theme at the conference. The vBlock is a pre-engineered and tested computing platform consisting of the VMware Data Center Operating System, Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS) and Nexus Converged Network Platform and EMC's data storage and data protection.
All members of the Varrow team attended the EMC Bootcamp and heard straight from Chad Sakac the direction that EMC is heading with regard to the vBlock architecture.
"This event is key to our go to market strategy and allowed us to network with many industry leaders", said Jeff Goree, Chief Operations Officer of Varrow.
